If you are waking up in the morning with watery, itchy eyes, the need to blow your nose, and a stuffy feeling that is not associated with a cold, you probably have a problem with seasonal allergies. If you are near animals and you stuff up and suddenly have all of the symptoms of a cold though you were fine just ten minutes ago, you probably have allergies. Some people have what they think is a cold only to discover a month later that the symptoms they are experiencing have not gone away. This too is a sign of allergies. There are many types of allergies and different ways to detect and treat them.</p>
</p>

The types of allergies you get can be different, and they can come about at any point in your life. When you are a baby, you can develop what are called food allergies, though they can happen at any age. The most common types of food allergies for kids are peanuts and milk. The protein in these are what the allergy comes from and what you may have to avoid for the rest of your life. Most people allergic to peanuts can never eat them, but some babies with milk allergies outgrow them and have no problems with dairy from then on out.</p>

Other types of allergies come from things like dust and pet dander. These too have proteins in them and they are what your body is reacting to. If you have a dust allergy, life can be pretty tough. It is almost impossible to get away from dust, so the trick is to make your home environment as dust free as possible with cleaning and hypoallergenic products for your bed and heating system. You can then take allergy medications for the times when you can not avoid dust. </p>

Pet dander is not the fur of the animal, but rather the skin that comes off with it. That allergy is hard to fight too, and you may spend a lot of time popping medications if you have to be near pets. Someone can clean and clean and never get rid of pet dander if they are trying to make their a home a place you can come for a visit. Pet dander lingers in the air. As with dust mites, some types of allergies are just hard to get away from, with this being another. Pet allergies can come out of nowhere too, even if you have coexisted with them for years, you may suddenly develop an allergy for no obvious reason.</p>

There are other types of allergies that are harder to define, like a latex allergy, but there is something that is common with all allergies. The body senses some type of protein that it deems to be a toxin, and it releases chemicals to fight it. You can only be allergic to things that have protein, which means there really is not such thing as someone being allergic to smoke. You can be, however, sensitive to it. Watery eyes and some symptoms that mimic an allergy can happen near smoke an other non-protein based substances, but that is not a true allergy.</p>

There are a lot of things in our diet that we have been led to believe are good for us, but in fact they have a lot of hidden problems. White bread is one of those things. White bread tastes really good, and it is what most of us are use to eating when we want a sandwich for lunch or some toast in the morning. There are more problems with white bread than you may now, and you should be careful not to feel comforted by breads that boast about having vitamins and minerals, or breads that claim to have things inside of them that are simply not there. Think about switching to whole grain bread if you want to be healthier.</p>

One thing that is wrong with white bread is that it is made with white, enriched flour. For the most part, this flour has been bleached and stripped of any nutritional value in order to make is smooth and less grainy tasting. They then attempt to put the nutrients back in, thus the &#8216;enriched&#8217; part of the name. This flour spikes blood sugar and is one of the worst things a person can eat. Whole grain bread uses the flour in its natural  state, which is far better for you than its white and very-distant-cousin.</p>

Whole grain bread is much better than wheat bread, but wheat is a good alternative to white bread if you want to make the switch slowly. The only problem that you may encounter with wheat bread is that there are some breads that are made to be brown and claim to be wheat bread, but are just simple white bread with coloring. This is why those that are serious about changing their eating habits for the better should learn to read labels. What you see in the ingredients should tell you if you have the right thing or not.</p>

Whole grain bread can be hard to get use to, but it is the best for your health and your family. If you start your kids out on this they will like it and prefer it to any other type of bread. The reason so many like white is because that is what our parents gave us. You may have to try to find a whole grain that you think is the best one, as they all have a different taste. You can find national brands, or you can see if your grocery stores makes some of their own breads. These tend to be the best, are the freshest, and have the least preservatives.</p>

Whether you want to eat whole grain bread, wheat bread, or if you want to stick with white bread, think about the ingredients before you settle on a brand. You will be surprised to see that most companies add a small amount of sugar and high fructose corn syrup to their bread. This is mostly as a preservative but also because we are simply sugared up as a nation. See if you can find a brand without added sugar, no matter what type you prefer for the most health benefit from your bread of choice.</p>

Lets face it, chicken can be very good for you if you eat the white meat without the skin, but it can also get old very fast. Even eating the juicer, dark meat with the skin is not always the most creative meal for your taste buds. Love it or hate it, chicken is a staple food in our current diets, but it is also one that while useful in many dishes, it can also be flat out boring. If you are tired of the same old chicken each week on your dinner plate, think about some creative and tasty types of marinade for chicken that can perk up any chicken you buy.</p>

Marinade for chicken works much like marinade for any other type of meat. The marinade will react with the meat, adding flavor throughout the meat. If you want to marinate your chicken breasts, you want to do it for a short time, as the marinade may start to cook your chicken before you do. If you notice that the outside of the meat is turning white as if it were already cooked, don&#8217;t panic. Just know that it is time to get it into the cooking vessel of your choice or out on the grill. It is still good, it has just started to react with the marinade.</p>

Do not leave it sit out on the counter like you can do with some other meats. Time for marinade to penetrate will be shorter for breast than it will be for the dark meat. There are some great ones that you can get in your local stores and some amazing chicken marinades that you can find online. Most tell you how much and how long. Some regional favorites in your area will come from restaurants, so if you like the chicken they serve, see if they sell a marinade or a sauce. You may want to ask friends in other areas of the country if they have a regional favorite they can send you. </p>

Marinade for chicken is also something that you can come up with on your own. You want to use some vinegar in the marinade, as that helps the meat to change and absorb the flavor. The best way to come up with your own marinade is to start putting things that you like into a bowl to come up with something new. Common ingredients you can try are oil, vinegar, seasoning salt, fresh garlic, BBQ sauces, and herbs that compliments chicken. You may find that just dumping a few things you have into a bowl and putting it on your chicken gives you a unique creation that comes out tasting simply divine.</p>

There are many eating plans that you can go on to lose weight and have a healthier life. There are different personalities that do better with different diet plans. One of the ones that is not a huge headline maker, but that fits better in the currently lifestyle for some people are the raw food diets. Just like the name implies, you do not cook or heat your food in any way. As you can imagine, this will trim your options for meals quite a bit, so make sure fully understand what is going to happen if you take on this diet.</p>

Any of the raw food diets out there are great for losing pounds, but some also are used as a full body detox. A detox is when your body gets rid of a lot of the toxins it is holding on to (for whatever reasons) in your digestive system and even in each individual cell in your body. These foods help your body clean out so that you start to feel better. Detox can be brutal at first, as you may stink and break out in acne as the toxins expel, but once they are gone, you are going to look and feel (and even smell) better than you have in a very long time. </p>

That is just one reason why raw food diets are getting more popular. They are also popular because they can be very easy to prepare as long as you like the foods that you are going to be eating. There are a lot of vegetables and fruits in this type of diet because you can always enjoy them without having to cook them. You can do a whole bunch at once and then store them in your fridge so that you can just grab and go when you need to eat.</p>

This diet won&#8217;t help you if you get sick from eating the wrong thing.</p>

When thinking about raw food diets, remember that even though you have not cooked something that does not mean it has not been cooked somewhere else. Bags of chips open up and you eat them without cooking them, but they have been cooked in a factory. Beans can be eaten without cooking, but be sure before you eat them by reading labels or make sure you prepare them on your own. This diet can be more tricky than you think. If you have a hard time with restrictive diets, this one may not be for you. However, you may find it is exactly what you have been looking for to turn your health and your life around.</p>

There are millions of people on a diet in our country at any given time, with that number being the highest around the beginning of the year. This is because one of the most common New Year&#8217;s resolutions that people make is to lose weight. There are many great diet plans out there, but you may not be sure what you should do as many may have failed for you in the past. The trick is to find the one that works for you. If you have gotten bored and fallen off many diets in the past, you need something with more variety, which may mean a rotation diet is in order to help you to better health.</p>

There are so many diets out there that you could go through life giving each one a go for a few months and you would never have the chance to try them all. Getting your health in order is not something you should wait to do, so this is not the approach you should take anyway. Many turn to a rotation diet when they have tried and failed with many other types of eating plans mostly due to the boredom and the extreme hunger that some of them bring on. A rotation diet is restrictive, of course, but because you change every so often, you won&#8217;t get bored nearly as fast as you would on any other type of plan.</p>

This is a great way to eat foods that are interesting and fun, but you change to something else before you get bored with them. Your eating interests should be taken into consideration when choosing a rotation diet. You can lose weight with any diet, but if you don&#8217;t like the food choices, you are not going to stick with it. This is why you should find each rotation diet that you can to see what each ones allows for food choices and how often you make a rotation, and then to what you will be rotating. You will find some have choices you like, and some might be too off the wall for you. Go with the one that makes the most sense for your taste buds, your life, and even for your food budget.</p>

Don&#8217;t forget to add exercise to your rotation diet. You may lose a few pounds by changing your eating habits, but you will lose much more if you add exercise to your new plan.
